Everyone is obsessed with vampires lately. I understand, because Twilight is sort of amazing. But seriously, Nordstrom didnt need to make a line of New Moon clothing. All it is, is a bunch of really dull colored clothes that try to replicated Bella’s look. Please keep the whole vampire look for Halloween…
From boyfriend blazers to ties to oxfords; menswear is very trendy! A boyfriend blazer paired with some oxfords is extremely chic. The boyfriend blazer looks great on any body type. “Lady Gaga”-inspired tights are very fashionable and go nicely with the boyfriend blazer. Dont get caught up in this menswear trend completely. Mix in some girly pieces unlike Katie Holmes; did she sneak into Tom’s closet? The boyfriend blazer is very versatile and popular, you can wear it with almost anything. I encourage wearing it with a high-waisted mini, skinny jeans, or leggings so you dont lose yourself in too much fabric.

“This is one of my favorite paintings in the world. What inspires me about this is the bold colour of red in the angels perceiving the darker side of heaven and the gray blue angels depicting the lighter side. I’ve always been inspired by 14th/15th-century art and this painting in particular. This is one of my favorite paintings in the world. Today was “kickin’ it old school” day at school. Of course, I chose the 80’s. Basically, everything I wear belongs in every other time period besides 2009. I got a few “double takes” on my outfit today, but honestly, I would wear this on a regular day. It catches people’s attention; youre remembered for it. I first became obsessed with the “biker chick 80’s look” when watching Taylor Momsen on season 2 of Gossip Girl last fall. Obviously, you need to put a twist on the 80’s look. Add neon and contrast colors. Play up your proportions with a cropped leather (faux, of course) jacket and a high waisted mini. High waisted skirts slim you down while elongating your torso.
AHH, I absolutely love these shoes! I first saw this trend while watching “The Rachel Zoe Project” a few weeks back. I saw Taylor wearing a pair of black leather Louboutin’s and I fell in love with them. Or as Rachel would say, “I DIE!”.
But of course, theyre over $2,000. So here are a few boots that I love for under $100. They might not be as sturdy as Louboutin’s, but this is an extreme style, how many times are you going to wear it?
Stay away from patent leather boots! We dont want to look stripper-esq, now do we?
I dont believe in the word “style”. I think its another way society can label you. I dont consider myself to have a “style”. I wear whatever I like for the day. The next day is completely different. I guess you could say that I like to play dress up. I created this blog to post my feelings about fashion, what catches my eye, and what trends I love.
