Starting this lovely Monday morning out with an outfit post. This is the last week of classes before summer *cries*. I’m actually sad about it…

Also, if you haven’t seen the 90s series, Twin Peaks, you better start watchin’.

Young & Beautiful

photo DSC03210.jpg Remember that whole vintage, sparkly butterfly top trend? I like how this is a muted version of that unwearable craziness.

Finals, projects, and the like are consuming my life right now but I’m actually sad that the semester is coming to an end.

P.S. I’m literally dying to see the Great Gatsby. I can’t get enough of Lana Del Rey’s song on the soundtrack: “Young and Beautiful”.

photo photo4-4.jpg Last couple of days in photo form. I got the honor of being able to go to the Stanley Kubrick exhibition at the LACMA last night. It was a college student only event: fun atmosphere, food and people.
Went to a Wildfox sample sale in downtown this morning…FIDM girls were hauling ass in that showroom (I assume most of them were from FIDM, I didn’t see any familiar faces and let’s get real, who else would wake up that early for a sample sale on a Friday morning?). Apparently people lined up for it 2 hours in advance (doors opened at 9 AM). That’s a lot of commitment. I skedaddled on over at 9:15 and had to wait in this line for about 35-40 minutes. I wish I could say it was worth it like the UNIF sample sales are but it was quite a disappointment. I was hoping for better discounts and more current merchandise. All in all, it was quite an interesting experience.

Obsessed with TOPSHOP’s comic book style pieces.

I suppose this is my new hair style…I hate that awkward stage when your hair isn’t “short” but it’s not long either.

P.S. overalls are making a come back apparently…hmm..
