Shy Wilder

Street wear/festival inspired look featuring this crop top courtesy of Shy Wilder. I like this top because it’s a basic piece with a little flair–perfect for summer. The embroidered shorts pretty much scream festival/summer style. All I need to throw this outfit into cliché central would be a floral crown (lolz make them stop plz).

Whitney Eve/ASOS Brand Ambassador

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you’ve seen that I’ve started interning at Whitney Eve…aka dream internship. It’s nothing like a stereotypical internship. We’re encouraged to contribute on whatever we want and we don’t go on coffee runs. My title is “Social Media Intern” and I’ve been working on some fun little stuff the past few weeks that I can’t wait to share.
In other news, I recently found out that I (along with two others) are the official USC ASOS Brand Ambassadors. Basically the coolest thing ever because I shop at ASOS on the regular. We get to give away free ASOS products and hold events with other organizations on campus.
This “dress” is detachable–something I’ve never seen before. I decided to wear it with a pair of doc’s because as an intern, even though I might want to wear heels and be all fancy/professional, if they’re not required…I won’t do it. I learned this the hard way. Plus the docs make the dress less grandma and more…#punk.

The lovely girls (who happen to be sisters) at Weekend Riches were kind enough to send me two tees from their last collection. They’re currently launching a new collection that’s under wraps so stay tuned and follow them on Instagram @weekendriches !

I like these tees because they fit right into my current wardrobe. They’re totally street style friendly.

As of late, I’ve been wearing whatever is convenient and comfortable. Surprising, I know. It’s just that time of the year with classes and what not. I’m so ready for the semester to be over, my goodness.
This UNIF dress doesn’t have much shape so I use it as a sort of kimono instead.
I’m really loving all of the Civil Clothing pieces from their fall collection and I was lucky enough to be sent some pieces from their new collection, “Dare to Be Different” which is going to be released on December 2nd. Their muscle tees are simple and effortless. You can throw one on before running out the door and you’re rep-ing an awesome brand.

If you’re in Los Angeles on November 30th, head to the Civil Clothing Warehouse Sale.

Casual school look. If I wanted to dress it up a bit more, I would’ve added an oxblood lip (MAC’s “Diva”) and a chunky necklace.

Obsessed with this punk-esque Yeezus shirt designed by Kanye West.
Surprisingly, I really like Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s PacSun collection. Kylie’s style is right up my alley. I bought this shirt after I saw a photo of her donning a similar one.

Wow. I cannot believe I have been rambling on this blog for four years now. I never expected it to last this long or bring me as many opportunities as it has: Nordstrom fashion board, Claire’s style blogging, modeling, writing for Teen Vogue, internships and writing for the Daily Trojan at USC. This blog is a collection of photos that have documented me growing up. From my house, to my dorm and now my apartment, I’ve been posting these OOTDs for four years. Insane.
Cheers to many more!

Internship outfit this past friday.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the eighth week of school. After that, nine more weeks. I’ve already started the countdown because I cannot wait to finish this semester and start doing classes that apply to my major. Halle-fricken-lujah.

Naturally, midterms are consuming my life. I finally declared a major (double major): economics and creative writing. I believe that combination covers all of my bases (look at me using baseball colloquialisms!) in terms of my interests and strengths. I find it so strange that you’re expected to choose a major right out of high school. You haven’t even been given the chance to explore. I have taken some GEs here at USC that have immensely impacted my views and opinions. If someone told me two years ago that I was going to major in creative writing, I would not have believed them.

In other news, Bangerz is such an amazing album I can’t even deal. I have been listening to it non stop. Miley was phenomenal on SNL this past weekend as well.

I’m obsessed with Civil Regime’s fall collection. They were kind enough to send me some pieces that have integrated into my wardrobe fabulously. Hats usually aren’t my thing but I’m really liking this snapback. This top reminds me of Givenchy’s iconic angry dog tee which makes it all the more awesome.

Plaid is a fall staple and extremely easy to style. It’s a great print to mix with grunge-y pieces.

Be on the lookout for more Civil Regime looks!
